The “Etnambiente” project was launched within the Technical Table on the Environment of the Etna Wine and Flavours Route, with the aim of tackling the problem of illegal micro-landfills in a structured and synergic manner.

[vc_empty_space height=”45px”]

[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row parallax_background_image=”3637″ css=”.vc_custom_1619796952496{background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_column]

The initiative involves not only the Strade del Vino e dei Sapori dell’Etna association as the leader, but has also garnered the support of numerous environmental associations as well as consortia, key reference points for the area and for entrepreneurs: all united in the common fight against those who deface the landscape.

[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_content_width=”grid” css=”.vc_custom_1543851982202{padding-top: 160px !important;padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-7 vc_col-md-offset-0 vc_col-md-12 vc_col-sm-offset-0 vc_col-xs-12″]

For this reason, we have employed modern technologies that are easy and immediate to use for citizens, the institutions involved, and the authorities responsible for the criminal and administrative repression of this phenomenon.

The ``Etnambiente`` app has been created, which will facilitate the mapping of micro-landfills and the identification of those committing environmental crimes through anonymous photographic reporting of them.

[vc_empty_space height=”60px”]

[/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-5 vc_col-md-offset-0 vc_col-md-12 vc_col-sm-offset-0 vc_col-xs-12″]

Through your anonymous reports, we will be able to identify waste locations and possibly even those responsible. Local monitoring will also be strengthened with the ``adopt a camera`` project, which will facilitate private individuals installing cameras to monitor public areas. Citizens' good behavior—who will be able to check the status of their reports online—will be rewarded with in-kind contributions or discounts on waste disposal taxes.

[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_content_width=”grid” css=”.vc_custom_1622102417220{padding-top: 100px !important;padding-bottom: 100px !important;}”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1622102620470{padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”]
