Iuppa

Suspended between the volcano and the sea, Milo is a beautiful little village of just under 1,000 souls on the eastern slope of Etna. Our vineyards are terraced with traditional dry lava stone walls that start at an altitude of 530 meters and go up to over 700 meters.

We mainly grow the native grapes of the area such as Carricante, Catarratto, Nerello Mascalese, and Nerello Cappuccio and our current production is 35,000 bottles. We have renovated an old Etnean palmento from the 19th century from which we have obtained six wonderful suites overlooking the volcano, the vineyards and the Ionian Sea. A marvellous swimming pool with endless views and a SPA are at the disposal of our welcome guests. We organize tastings and wine experiences in a magical contest.
