Etna Wine Bus, a new way to visit Etna from the heart of Catania.
An unforgettable experience to appreciate the volcanic landscape from the sea to the mountains, tasting the wines of Etna and typical products visiting wineries and olive farms.

Etna Wine Bus

Travel along the coast of the Cyclopes to live the myth with a spectacular view of the sea, then reach the highest volcano in Europe, its heroic vineyards and immerse yourself in the scents and flavors of a unique territory full of traditions. On board the Etna Wine Bus, an expert guide will accompany you on this full day trip to discover the “Faraglioni” of Acitrezza and climb the south - east side of the volcano among vineyards and olive groves. The Etna Wine Bus will take you to two different wineries, where you can discover the vineyards, wineries, millstones and taste Etna Doc wines in combination with local specialties. Upon return, the Etna Wine Bus will take you back to Catania center to the same departure stop. You can choose between Central Station, Piazza Stesicoro and Piazza Scammacca.

Tour Options

The tour is available on Wednesday and Sunday, available from April until November

The ticket price includes:

  •  Round trip by bus;
  •  a dedicated guide during the whole tour that will explain the historical, naturalistic and enogastronomic aspects of the territory (in Italian or in English)
  •  the visit to 2 wineries with 2 wines Etna DOC in each winery, 1 tasting plate of typical local products. The dishes can be adapted to any food requirement
  •  a dedicated transfer from and to the wineries that includes the return to the departure station of Catania center

The Tour is designed for individuals and aggregated groups and is available for groups of more than 10 people from Monday to Sunday.

No wine or alcoholic beverages will be served to minors.
