A very nice day
We were a small Group of 4 and we had a Lovely Day with Barabara. She was very knowledgeable in many areas and extremely friendly. We truly had a wonderful day filled with lots of laughter. I can highly recommend a tour with Barbara.
Etna wine tour
Barbara Cannizzaro is excellent host: knowledgeable, personable, witty, she gave herself fully to the day with us, adding extras not on the tour — stop atbtje butcher and cheese store, crash drink specialty sweet store and helping us with wine tasting. We had private van after the train, nobody hurried us.
Such a fun trip
We had an amazing time on our tour! Barbara was such a fun and energetic guide and made our multi generational family of 13 (ages 2-77) feel right at home. She customized the tour for our family and showed us the sites adding a bit of history along the way. And the two wineries were such an idyllic Sicilian experience. Highly recommend!
A Wonderful Day!
This was a wonderful way to spend a day. Barbara was knowledge, entertaining, kind, and personable. We had a great time learning different geological facts, historical legends, and stories of Sicilian culture. The wineries we visited were equally gracious and accommodating. The wineries even offered completely gluten free appetizers to accommodate a member of our group with celiac disease. Such a lovely experience!
Loads of fun!
Barbara was entertaining, very knowledgeable, hospitable and provided access to experiences we wouldn't have done on our own in Randazzo. We particularly enjoyed visiting Zumbo Vini, a very welcoming family run business with, of course, fabulous wine.
Barbara is the best!
We had a wonderful day with our guide Barbara. She taught us so much about the flora of the region, Mt. Etna, and volcanoes, including how they’ve affected the local geography and architecture. We learned about Sicilian history and culture in a beautiful and charming town of Randazzo. And we tasted delicious wine over beautiful views and learned about the unique Etna wine industry. The train itself was a relatively short portion of the day, but it set the scene for everything else to come. She had so many stories to tell about her life and was one of the best and engaging tour guides I’ve ever had. I wish we could bring her with us everywhere on this trip!
