We offer guided tours of the company during which you can discover our history, the characteristics of the volcanic territory and the traditional methods with which we cultivate Nerello Mascalese and Carricante. The visit ends with a tasting of our Etna DOC wines, accompanied by typical local products, carefully selected to tell the gastronomic identity of this extraordinary corner of Sicily.

From our estate you can enjoy a unique view that embraces the historic terraces, the Ionian sea and, in the background, Taormina. A suggestive landscape that makes every visit a special moment, to be lived slowly and passionately.

Etna spumante D.O.C.

Produced with Nerello Mascalese grapes from the vineyard of Contrada Zotti, Montargano in the municipality of Mascali.

The choice of the harvest period plays a fundamental role in the success of the entire sparkling process. Sugars, acids and PH are checked almost daily. The period of aging in bottle on yeasts reaches 24 months. At dewatering the sparkling wine does not undergo any dosage. The refilling is carried out with the same sparkling wine. The perlage is fine and continuous, the nose is intense with hints of bread crust, floral notes and citrus hints.

With good structure and persistence, great freshness and elegance, this sparkling wine expresses a strong typical of the east side of Etna.

Great versatility throughout the meal; excellent with a sea salad and fried, first courses based on seafood, second courses of fish in the Sicilian tradition.

Etna Bianco D.O.C.

Produced with Carricante grapes from the vineyard of Contrada Zotti, Montargano in the municipality of Mascali.

Carricante is the main structure of this wine, it gives great acidity and consequently longevity.

After a careful selection, the grapes are pressed, followed by cryomaceration to extract color and enrich the aromatic profile. At the end of fermentation, the wine ages first in steel and then in bottle for at least 6 months.

The color reflects the characteristics of an ETNA DOC White, enriched by the intensity given by the cryomaceration. The olfactory profile is rich in perceptors: floral, fruity and herbaceous notes are distinguished. The taste profile is typical of the east side of Mount Etna with a strong acidity and a savoury influenced by the winds coming from the sea.

Etna Rosso D.O.C.

Produced from grapes of Nerello Mascalese in purity of the vineyard of Contrada Zotti, Montargano in the municipality of Mascali.

The plants from which the grapes come are the result of a pre-phylloxeric clone grafting of Nerello Mascalese, already present in the district.

The grapes are harvested manually while preserving the integrity of the clusters and placed in medium-sized boxes.

After a quick delivery in the cellar, the grapes are selected by hand. It follows a soft deraspatura not to compromise the integrity of the grapes. The grapes are placed in a vat of fermentation for about 15 days at controlled temperature.

The Nerello Mascalese is able to give its best over the years and can express all its characteristics with a long refinement. The wine is aged for 8-10 months in barrels of 500 liters. The last stage of aging is in bottles for at least 12 months.

The wine has an intense ruby red colour with garnet hues. On the nose, the notes of ripe fruit are evident, going on the jam mainly berries, notes of violet, leather, bitter almond, underbrush.

Body, with excellent persistence, great elegance and complexity
