Chance meetings can bring to life exciting projects. This is what has occured to Agata Di Fede, sicilian cookery master, and Rita Cocuzza, writer, who in 2018 produced a liqueur called “Amaro INDIGENO“- the first pomegranate one ever made in Sicily – and founded a company whose purpose is to create a link between love for Nature and respect for tradition, but with a modern twist.

The Company is called ” INDIGENO ” as well, and it emphasises the peculiar yet stunning place of origin of its ingredients. Namely the sheer power and vibrancy surrounding Mount Etna. To us and our dialect it is by definition ‘a muntagna’.
